The storage capacity that the E-mail service provides is 20ÌÂ, while there is no limit to e-mail size being sent or received.
You can gain full access to the E-mail service via internet when using an Internet Explorer edition newer than 5.5. In the case that you use some other browser (i.e. Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, Opera or an Internet Explorer edition smaller than 5.5), you will not have access to the options “Settings” and “SMS”.
You can send 10 free text messages daily via internet from the Å-mail service.
The alerts are set using the option “Settings > Alert filters”.
When a new account has been set up in the E-mail service, alerts are already activated (The options “Alerts Activated” and “Default Setting: Email Alert” are activated).
· When the option “Alerts Activated” has not been activated, no alerts are sent.
You can change the language through the browser settings you use (i.e. for Internet Explorer: TOOLS> INTERNET OPTIONS> LANGUAGES>, where you add the desired language by pressing ADD and then MOVE UP so it becomes the preset language).
The language of the folder list at left is determined during the set-up phase of an account and cannot be changed. The default language is Greek, so that by changing the language, you are changing the language of all of the interface except for the names on the address contact list.
You have to change the browser’s default language by using the option “actions->options->languages->Greek”, as well as the default character codification to “Greek (ISO-8859-7)”.
You cannot display all of your contacts simultaneously. In order to choose a recipient, before choosing one of the options “To”, “cc” or “bcc”, you must enter part of their contact information (i.e. name as it appears, surname, email address) and then press “Search”.
Another way of doing this is to enter part of the recipient’s contact information in the fields “To”, “cc” or “bcc”, and then choose “check name” from the Tool Bar. The names will be completed automatically.
